We’re super excited to see you for your upcoming tattoo appointment! Here are some friendly reminders to help you prepare for your visit:

First things first, just a heads up that our studio has an age policy—no one under 18. You’re welcome to bring one person along for support during your appointment. Please refer to our 18+ Policy & Studio Etiquette at the bottom of this page.
You can find us on the 1st floor, shop 6a at the Kenridge Centre. Just search for "Vesper and Quill" on Google Maps or click this link for directions! We’re right above The Vineyard Deli, and there’s parking available nearby. Plus, there are two staircases on either side of the building for easy access.
To help you get ready, we’ve put together a handy checklist just for you!
If you have any questions or need anything at all, feel free to message us on WhatsApp. We'll also send you a friendly reminder as your appointment date gets closer.
Thanks so much, and we can’t wait to see you soon! ✨
Resting well and having a nutritious meal will really set you up for a great appointment!
To keep the jitters away, it’s best to avoid too much sugar and caffeine before coming in (1-2 coffees are totally cool).
If you can, aim to arrive a few minutes early so we can wrap up the final details, like finalizing your tattoo size and signing consent forms without a rush. We love your enthusiasm to get to us half an hour early, feel free to go grab a coffee downstairs while we finish setting up for you.
If you find yourself running a little behind, just drop us a message on WhatsApp. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, though, we’ll need to reschedule your appointment.
If you can, finish any workouts before your appointment, as we recommend avoiding sweat for at least 48 hours afterward.
Once you get your tattoo, it’s best to avoid swimming, bathing, or soaking for at least 2 weeks afterward.
If you have any medical conditions, it’s a good idea to check with your doctor before coming in. And definitely let your artist know if you have any allergies!
We won’t be able to tattoo if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, but we’re happy to schedule your appointment for when it’s safe.
Healing usually takes about 7 to 21 days, depending on your immune system. During this time, it’s super important to keep it clean and practice good hygiene. Avoid any situations that could lead to infection, like being in dirty places, swimming, or working out on appointment day and the day after.
Make sure you have some mild soap and aqueous cream ready for the healing process. If you want to use a wound film afterward, don’t forget to bring it along! We’ll explain everything on the day.
We want your tattoo experience to be perfect! Just a few things to keep in mind:

A Note on Our 18+ Policy & Studio Etiquette
We ask that no one under 18 comes into the studio. We really mean this with all the love and respect!
So, why the 18+ rule? We simply don’t tattoo anyone under 18 — not even with parental consent. This is a standard upheld by reputable artists and studios everywhere.
As for kids in the studio, it’s just not a kid-friendly space. There are ceramic pots, glass décor, sharp tools, and other clients mid-tattoo, which can create safety risks for everyone.
Plus, we get that kids need attention and space to move around, which is totally understandable! But expecting a child to sit quietly for hours? That’s a tall order. If they get bored or start exploring (as kids do), it can disrupt the artist's focus and affect the tattoo's outcome.
If you’re bringing a support person, that’s cool — just one, please! But they need to be on board with respecting the space and everyone in it. This is a working studio, and while it looks like a “cool job,” it’s still our job.
Make sure your guest:
We promise they'll be fine with a book, a coffee, or just as chill support.
Thanks for helping us keep the studio calm, safe, and focused. It really means a lot to us and helps us give you the best tattoo experience possible!
